Fallout 4 Reset Cell Command: Tips and Tricks for Reseting Cells and Respawning Loot and NPCs

What is a cell (easy description)The gameworld is divided into small cells, which are loaded when the player is near. With the console you can go to those cells, for example:coc redrocketext will bring you to the Red Rocket near Sanctuary. What is a cell reset?A cell reset means, that every item and enemy that has a respawn flag, will respawn in the cell. The cell reset is different from Skyrim and only god knows how it does really work. Setting it to 1 hour and go to sleep will not always have the effect to reset the cells, but there is hope, if you read on.Force a cell resetGo to your Fallout 4 folder, where the exe is located and create two text files.First file:setRespawn.txtOpen it and paste:setgs iHoursToRespawncell 1 setgs iHoursToRespawncellCleared 1set timescale to 99999pcbSecond file:resetRespawn.txtOpen it and paste:setgs iHoursToRespawncell 168setgs iHoursToRespawncellCleared 480 set timescale to 20Save and close.-- Notice, this will drain your thirst, hunger and fatigue --1. Go ingame, go to an interior of your choice and open the console. 2. Type: bat setRespawn3. Close console and after 1 second reopen the console.4. Type: bat resetRespawn5. Close console, leave interior, everything is resetted.Side effect you may see, is a blue landscape in the distance. Nothing to worry about. Just save your game and restart Fallout 4.Known bugsCell resets do not work correctly. There is a bug, which causes the cells to respawn after minutes, when leaving the cell. Why this happens is unknown and there is no fix available.A workaround, which I use, is to set a loot chance of a container. So the container can be empty found. This prevents you from noticing such areas and fight unwillingly exploiting this bug. ( My leveled lists are also within the installer and configurable with MCM )

Fallout 4 Reset Cell Command

Interrupting ResetsThis is what makes getting the exact time for resets down a difficult task. Evidently, entering a 'cell' on the map can cause its timer to start over, meaning it will take longer for that cell to reset. If you want a certain area to reset, you'd need to rest in an area away from that cell (a bit across the map) or else inside, while avoiding the area if you're traveling. Cells are roughly squares on the map. If you're in an area where you had to load to enter it, you're safe to sleep and wait on the reset but it will take a lot of time.

This is part of the cell reset bug. The current work around is to only use power armor FRAMES that you BUY. Not the ones that you find out in the world. Those are essentially containers that get 'reset' when the cell reloads, randomizing whatever the contents were (i.e., Super Duper Flame Painted T-60 parts) into basic rusty T-45 parts.

This is a hidden room in Skyrim that can only be accessed via console commands. With a surreal purple and green color palate, this eerily cross-shaped cell has four doorways at the end of each corridor, but no actual doors. Should you step through one of these gaping thresholds, you'll simply get ported back to the center of the death room.

Center on cell commands will put your character smack dab in the middle of whatever cell you choose to name. While the "move player" commands rely on a specific character actually being in the cell we're trying to go to, this one doesn't have any such conditions.

To sort the confusion matrix according to the true positive rate, normalize the cell values across each row by setting the Normalization property to 'row-normalized' and then use sortClasses. After sorting, reset the Normalization property back to 'absolute' to display the total number of observations in each cell.

To sort the confusion matrix according to the positive predictive value, normalize the cell values across each column by setting the Normalization property to 'column-normalized' and then use sortClasses. After sorting, reset the Normalization property back to 'absolute' to display the total number of observations in each cell.

Steam Achievement Manager works on the same principle as the command typed in the console, so you can rest assured about your account. The matter is a little different on the subject of bans in games in which you reset these achievements. 2ff7e9595c
